Parts of the existing retail center had to be open during construction. Crisdel developed a phasing plan and coordinated with other trades on-site to accommodate traffic for Urban Edge Properties and their tenants. Challenges included removal and replacement of existing utilities and grading to meet existing grades. Crisdel’s value engineering for pavement grading allowed for the parking lot to drain efficiently, while meeting all ADA requirements and existing grades. Crisdel adapted to all changes and challenges in order to meet the store opening dates.
