PORT AUTHORITY BUS TERMINAL SECURITY BOLLARD INSTALLATION
The primary scope of work included installation of 460 steel security bollards around the perimeter of the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The major components of the project consisted of relocating approximately 700 feet of 12” D.I.P. water main along 41st Street, construction of foundations, placement of bollards, installation of steel faced curb and construction sidewalks on 40th, 41st and 42nd Streets and 8th and 9th Avenues. Controlling the mass amount of foot traffic in the area while keeping the public safe and out of our work area was a challenge.
