PROVIDENCE ROAD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

Dredging, Excavation and Widening of an existing Boat Channel, draining into Alafia River.  Seasonal challenges due to drainage of, Upland basin, through the existing Boat Channel.  Work required compliance per ACOE, SWFWMD permits, and FDOT Standards. Installation of 1,300 LF of 38”x60”, 19”x30” ERCP, Precast Concrete Box Culverts 7’x3’, 5’x4’, 4’x3’, Cast in place Concrete Headwalls, Bank & Shore Rip Rap at outfall.  Crisdel also worked closely with Hillsborough County Utilities Department, in realignment of existing 16” WM, and 8” Sanitary FM, that were in conflict with new upgraded drainage system.  Due to project’s location, Maintenance of Traffic and Traffic Detours were required for road closures for all pipe crossings.

County Design Team, and Project Engineers worked closely with Crisdel Group, in modifying the design to accommodate field changes, and resolving unforeseen conditions.
